Moving On 2025 t-shirts

Our fabulous Moving On 2025 t-shirts are now on sale on our website in the shop!

The brilliant design is by Emma Carlow and they will be printed to order by a local Lewes company, Another Fine Mesh.

This year's design features an Iguanodon as part of the 2025 theme 'A Night in the Museum'. Gideon Mantell who lived in Lewes is famed with finding the fossils of the Iguanodon. However, new research has been unearthed which actually points to his wife, Mary Mantell as the discoverer of the Iguanodon. So our Iguanodon is named Mary!

Dr Gideon Mantell (1790-1852) and Mary Ann Mantell (1795-1869)

Discovered in Sussex in 1822, a collection of teeth was the first evidence of the gigantic herbivore reptile, Iguanodon. This dinosaur and its closest relatives lived during the Early Cretaceous, between 140 and 110 million years ago.

To find out more about the Iguanodon and the Mantells head to the Natural History Museum's website

All profits from the Moving On 2025 t-shirts will go towards this year's Parade. Mary the Iguanodon glows-in-the-dark and is printed on an organic cotton t-shirt.

T-shirts are printed to order so won't be available straight away. We will let all those who have purchased a t-shirt know when they will be ready for local delivery or collection. The deadline for ordering t-shirts is 23rd May.
