On Saturday 1st February we took over Human Nature's Warehouse and had an epic party to kick off the fundraising for the Moving On Parade 2025!
The night started with the excellent duo, Hanari, otherwise known as Hannah and Harriet. They got the dance floor going with some 00s, Tech, House and DNB.
The bar was open and doing a roaring trade thanks to our wonderful volunteers. A big thanks to Beak and Abyss breweries for their donations of beer which proved very popular.
A team of Dad's from Western Road School were mixing and shaking cocktails over at the second bar. Dark and Stormy's proved to be the most popular cocktail of the evening!
The wonderful Lady Hummingbird, otherwise known as Victoria took over from Hanari at 9.30pm and the crowd were loving her tunes and the light show, provided by Sussex Hire & Productions.
There was much fun over at the Photo Booth with the costumes from Gladrags. A big thanks to Fabio Youniss, our volunteer photographer! You can see all the photos here.
Just after 11pm, Llama G, otherwise known as George took to the decks and kept the crowd dancing and cheering with his tunes.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, worked super hard to put on such a fantastic night! In the words of one part-goer "yes, we are all tired parents but we grew up in the late 90s/early 00s rave and club scene, so put us in a warehouse with some epic DJs and tripping lights and you have one hell of a night!"
