Illustrators Geocache Easter Egg Hunt – 24 March

Since our 2019 theme is all about children’s literature, we thought this offered a wonderful opportunity to put the spotlight on the many wonderful illustrators who work in and around Lewes.

Our Illustrators Geocache Easter Egg Hunt will be on Sunday 24 March from 2pm- 5pm.   Registration will be outside Waterstones at 220 – 221 High Street, Lewes, for a technology led Easter egg hunt around illustrators’ studios using sat nav on participants’ phones. We will give the GPS coordinates of illustrators studios, galleries and hidden venues where participants can find the illustrators and the eggs. The idea is to give young people and the wider community the opportunity to have fun discovering local illustrators, see them at work and chat to them about what they do and why. It is also a chance to highlight the extraordinary wealth of talented illustrators in our area.

Prices – £3 for young people. £ 5 for adults, £12 for a family of four. Web enabled devices or phones needed.

Our huge thanks to the illustrators involved and to Priory student Louis Tyszkiewicz, 13 yrs, for the event poster artwork.
